for Twitter i have three levels of Intimacy for those i follow:
SMS = my RL friends +a few (nothing like suddenly getting a review from Shavrio or some wisdom from “Jenny Holzer”) + DMs + ‘follow m1k3y’ (so i get any/all replies)
RSS Feeds = SMS + online friends
Twitter apps = well, all i’m following obviously
– RSS Feeds i actually mostly ’cause Twitter’s been such an unreliable creature lately.. updates mightn’t show up on the Timeline, been the user-feed’s seem reliable
