Teaser for Shane Carruth’s upcoming film, Upstream Color.

I haven’t looked this forward to a film in quite awhile. I’ve been wondering what happened to Carruth since he made Primer. I’m glad he’s still plugging away, because Primer was pretty brilliant, and you have to admire a guy who takes on so many roles and still manages to produce great work. I have no idea what this film is about (and will be avoiding too many details), but I’m guessing that it will be another complex but minimal indie sci-fi film.
