Time-Lapse Video Shows Star Trails and City Lights Streaking From Space
Photographer Christoph Malin from Austria created the stunning film by stacking image sequences taken by astronauts aboard the International Space Station. The results show off incredible patterns of light as the ISS zooms by. Along with the man-made metropolises, viewers can catch a glimpse of lightning corridors flashing within clouds, green auroras, satellite tracks, meteors, and even a quick appearance by the famous sun-diving comet Lovejoy (at about 1:42).

[Commission for the group show “Business Innovations for Ubiquitous Authorship”Higher Pictures, 980 Madison Ave, NY]For this exhibition each artist was asked to create a new work using an existing print-on-demand or customized printing service. The following phrase, translated into binary code and separated out into 8-digit strings, was realized as 126 unique temporary tattoos, to be worn on the forearm or wherever.
The growing proletarianization of modern man and the increasing formation of masses are two aspects of the same process. Fascism attempts to organize the newly created proletarian masses without affecting the property structure which the masses strive to eliminate. Fascism sees its salvation in giving these masses not their right, but instead a chance to express themselves.

Our 3G suit is intended for IVA, or Intra Vehicular Activity, that is, launch and re-entry, for commercial space providers both suborbital and orbital. Basically IVA suits are a safety backup in case of an emergency loss of cabin pressure, like the oxygen masks in commercial airliners. The future commercial space industry (SpaceX, Boeing, Sierra Nevada, Virgin, Armadillo, XCOR, etc) will need these suits for the basic safety of manned flights. Current NASA suits cost well into the millions, while our 3G is intended to retail for a small fraction of this.
We need your help to make this new suit! While our costs are comparatively modest, space suits are expensive. Every little bit helps us to pay for the materials, equipment and tooling required to make high technology safety garments.
