So yesterday, whilst at Paul‘s doing crucial filetransfers, it was confirmed that I’ve fallen victim to the dreaded iPod battery problem. I hadn’t noticed this earlier, because I’ve only been using the iPod lately whilst its connected to a power-source.
But M1K3Y, you say, what about all those 1337 podcasts you’re always raving about? Haven’t you been listening to them on the way to work? Well, I answer, lately I’ve been listening to the 20th C equivalent of live-streaming niche podcasts that deliver new music and exciting banter.. yes, I refer to community radio: namely the Breakfasters in on the drive in, and the kidz station, SYN FM on the drive home.
But, in keeping with the if they think you’re high-tech, go low-tech theme, I’ve also come up with an 20th C iPod equivalent.. a box of cassette tapes!

Its handy, portable and contains a great selection of music, and doesn’t fall victim to battery issues; unless my car won’t start 😦
And whenever I tire of the music selection, I just go to my master library and add new albums..
