A few quick thoughts on new shows for 2007:

• 24 – I don’t think I’ll ever tire of watching Jack Bauer ran around shouting at people and pointing his gun at civilians. Seriously. This show may be the most honest show on FOX, showing exactly the future Bush seems to be aiming for. ****
• Ugly Betty – New to oz tv anyway. Watched the first two eps. Basically The Devil Wears Prada remade for TV, staring Mexicans. It’s ok, well made, but doesn’t really grab me. ***
• Dirt – Courtney Cox’s sexy new show. Having people semi-naked every second scene doesn’t make up for terrible writing. The scenes with the schizo paparazzi are awesome though – I’d watch that show for sure. **

And, am hanging for season 2 of Rome, season 3 of Doctor Who, and Tim Minear’s new show Drive.
