Ever wonder where those movies on the ‘net come from? well, watch The Scene and learn.

This is one interesting show.. each episode revolving around one member of the fictional release group, CPX. All dialog with other members is via IM chats and emails, with the camera essentially shoulder-surfing. It basically goes behind the curtain on The Scene, revealling just how those movies et al appear on the internet.

And it already has a parody site.

How much does it cost to produce an episode of The Scene? How is this funded?

Each episode of The Scene costs about $600 to produce. We’re currently funding the show on our own, but we are in discussion with several potential sponsors, so hopefully that won’t be the case for too much longer!

What this shows is just what can be accomplished by new players, who’ve grown up with the ‘net. Let’s see what happens next.
