I recently watched the pilot of the new remake/reboot of The Bionic Woman (thanks to the miracle of the internets.. coughpreaircoughtorrentcough. It’s from the same production team that have done the (mostly) brilliant remake of Battlestar Galactica.

It’s very much in the vein of the girls-kicking-ass genre (think Alias and Dark Angel). But if the following clip is any indication, it looks like the BSG guys are gonna use this show to continue their exploration of how humanity might be evolving, specifically the co-evolution of man and machine.

Hopefully, with an expected massive cross-over audience of BSG fans alone this show won’t get a one ticket to cancel’ville. And we’ll get to watch them explore this great SF world we’re living in.
